Anil Garg
Anil is a passionate aviculturist and exotic species expert with over 30 years of experience breeding birds and animals and understanding their housing, nutritional, and enrichment requirements. He is a founding member and the current General Secretary of the Avian Society of India (ASI), which has thousands of registered members from all over India and has hosted numerous educational programmes and workshops.
He visited several zoos, private collectors, and conservation organisations across the globe before establishing a breeding centre for rare and endangered exotic species. He has given presentations on ‘Aviculture in India’ in a number of countries, and has been a keynote speaker at various international conferences. In Bangalore, India, he established the Life Science Education Trust, a skill development centre dedicated to professional training of animal keepers, curators, and veterinarians in all aspects of exotic species care and management.
